Welcome! I started this blog because I love to craft. I dabble with scrap booking, and card making. I love bending, folding and tweaking paper. I try other crafts, too. I hope to share some projects with you.

Envelope Mini Album

Recently I have been quite lame and unable to do stairs, and wouldn't you know it my studio is downstairs. I have been trying to work around it. My first greatest stupid attempt was to try to photograph my Fairy Pages book on the patio. The first thing that happened was an errant wind picked up three of them and blew them down into the yard. I waited watching the storm that was brewing for hours waiting for my husband to get home and rescue them. They survived in great shape. I can't say as much for my nerves.
So I have moved on to another project that I can work on at the island in the kitchen and on the dining room table. This project will not be as messy as many of my projects usually are. All I need is a six pack of envelopes and cards, a stack pack of paper, scor-tape, a paper cutter, a score maker, a couple of paper punches, card stock, stamp pad, a tyvek envelope, and time. Not to mention a great husband. He brought all of these things upstairs for me. The only thing that he wasn't sure of was the paper punches, so he brought up the shoe keeper from behind the door and I picked the ones that I wanted. Then he took it back down and re-hung it for me.

My Collection Of Materials.

Just getting started.

First of three envelope sections.

First envelope section covered with card stock.

Section shown with pull out card.

This Mini Album is constructed by making three of these sections and then attaching them together. This looks like another journey project. Now I'm off  to work on more of my little mini album. Which really isn't so little or mini once you see that 4x6 photos will fit without cropping, and there are so many places to put photos.
I'll be back in a few days with more of this cute little album to show you. So you all come back to see what's next!

Take Care
