Welcome! I started this blog because I love to craft. I dabble with scrap booking, and card making. I love bending, folding and tweaking paper. I try other crafts, too. I hope to share some projects with you.

Fall Fest ATC Swap

Fall is in the air and I couldn't help myself. I decided to host a swap on a fall theme. It was so exciting to see all the gorgeous ATC's come drifting in like the falling leaves.

For this ATC I started with an ad from a newspaper. I scanned and re-sized to fit an ATC. Then I used Scor-Tape on the back and then attached raffia to the backside of the photo. I attached it to orange card stock. I finished it off with two stickers put together.

This card started by stamping a leaf pattern with brown ink on a brown paper bag. I then cut canvas to size and pulled threads making the fringe. I stamped a leaf on the canvas. Then I wrapped it twice with white cotton thread that I stained brown by pulling it over the brown stamp pad. I tied a knot and then tied a wooden tag with the word "Fall" written on with a gel pen. I attached the canvas to the paper background using a brad. Then it was mounted to cardboard.

This card was covered with foam leaves and then I rubbed copper acrylic paint over them. I then used a die and cut out the leaf  with my Wizard. Instead of using the leaf I used the piece of copper paper that the leaf was cut from. I finished it off with an acorn sticker.

Take Care
Kathy
