MY KEY ATC
For the background of this ATC I used a new keys embossing folder that I got last winter while visiting a friend in NC. I used bronze metallic card stock and ran it through my Wizard die cutting machine. Then I centered it on dark brown card stock. The next step was the most time consuming. It really took forever to peel back the cardboard revealing the ribs. Then I tore a piece from the page of an old book and glued it over the cardboard. I used a dark brown ink pad and darkened the outside edge of the ribbed cardboard. I cut four keys out of brown card stock using my Silhouette die cutting machine. I stacked them one on top of the other, gluing them together as I went. Then I used a clear embossing pad on the top of the key and used UTEE on my key. I did this three of four times to build as thick layer of UTEE. While it was still hot I used copper alcohol ink on it. Now it looks like an old key. I then glued it in place. I went to an old wreath and pulled a flower from it. I tore it apart and used one layer of the flower. Using a small punch I punched a hole through the cardboard and book print. Then I put a brass rivet in the center of the flower and attached to the cardboard piece. I finished the card by gluing the cardboard piece off center.
