Welcome! I started this blog because I love to craft. I dabble with scrap booking, and card making. I love bending, folding and tweaking paper. I try other crafts, too. I hope to share some projects with you.

Sea Life

I recently joined an ATC swap called Sea Life. I couldn't help myself. It seems everyone loves this theme. With so many artists joining I just had to jump in to see what great cards that I would receive. Sadly when I should have been getting mine in the mail, they never arrived. I'm not faulting the hostess. After all I sent an address label that I wrote out myself. Sometimes I think the post office hates me!

My Sea Life ATC

For this card I applied Liquitex Light Modeling Paste,Gel Medium on white card stock. I used my fingers to create the waves and foam. After it was dry I painted it with a blue pearlized acrylic paint and then lightly stroked a darker blue Extreme Glitter over the top to make the water sparkle. I used white Extreme Glitter paint on the sea foam. I then made a print and cut dolphin using my Silhouette machine. I made one dolphin slightly smaller than the other. I then put Glossy Accents on the dolphins. After they dried I used foam dots to adhere them on to the card, putting the smaller dolphin slightly in front.

I am so disappointed that I have no Sea Life ATC's from other artists to share with you. I promise that if I ever get them I will put them on my blog for everyone to see.

Take Care
Kathy
