Welcome! I started this blog because I love to craft. I dabble with scrap booking, and card making. I love bending, folding and tweaking paper. I try other crafts, too. I hope to share some projects with you.

Companion Crown Page

In April of 2014 I shared with you what I felt would be the first page of Lauren's Scrapbook. I later decided that I would make a different introductory page. Now I had a left page but not a page for the right side. So I went back and made a page for the right side of the photo album.

I first posted this on my blog in April of 2014. If you are interested in knowing more you can find instructions posted there.

I found the matching piece of scrapbook paper that I used on first page. Using my Die cutting machine I cut out four matching crown frames. I painted them gold. I put dark pink glitter in the cutouts and rhinestones along the the outside edges. I put a large oval rhinestone on the crown cross. I then made a larger crown frame to highlight Lauren's going home picture. Once again I painted it gold and used dark pink glitter and rhinestones on it. I used my die cutting machine to make the lettering. I found the pictures that I wanted to use and put them into the frames. I laid the elements of the page in place until I was happy with the way it looked. Then I attached them in place with double sided tape. Going back to my die cutting machine I cut the little carriage border and taped it down. Then I glued the rhinestones onto the border. I used the pen function of my die cutter and wrote the label on vellum for beneath the center picture and put in into place. Yes, I know that it's over the top bling...I promise that all the pages won't be this over the top. I will try to rope myself in.
I hope that you are enjoying this journey with me because there are more pages to come.

Take Care
