Welcome! I started this blog because I love to craft. I dabble with scrap booking, and card making. I love bending, folding and tweaking paper. I try other crafts, too. I hope to share some projects with you.

Bedazzled Christmas Swap

The idea of this swap was to be quick and easy. With all the busy things that we all have to do at Christmas time this was a way for everyone to turn it down a notch. These cards were to be made from Christmas cards that that we had received from previous Christmas's. All we had to do was cut a piece from the card and punch a hole in the corner, tie a ribbon and hang an embellishment from the ribbon. Then they could be hung from a branch on your Christmas tree. I haven't received a real Christmas card in years. Everyone I know just sends an email now so that they don't have to spend the time addressing and mailing a real card.

This is the back of the cards
I put a little something on the back of each card just in case that they turned on the tree after being hung.

I am sorry that I wasn't able to blog these before Christmas. Our hostess lives in Canada and even though everyone did get their returns in time for Christmas mine took the long way home. They didn't arrive until after the New Year. They worth waiting for. Not only that but Celeste tucked a beautiful tree ornament into the envelope. Thanks, Celeste!
